1. Microbial insecticides can be used in the same way as chemical insecticides in the form of water suspension with any types of standard sprayers. Water suspension of Bicol may be prepared by mixing a small quantity of Bicol powder with water (50-60 g. per 10 liters) and then mixing the suspension. After mixing, suspension is to be poured into a sprayer tank through a grid filter with 0.75 mm mesh size.

Two types of sprayers can be used: a smaller sprayer allowing spraying of 5-28 l /ha and a larger standard sprayer allowing spraying of 100-200 l /ha.

Prepared suspension should be used within 2-4 hours.

2. The wettable powder of Bicol has an irritant effect on mucosa and on sensitive skin in some cases. After contact with the suspension, it is necessary to flush the suspension away with soap and water.

During spraying, it is advisable to use respirators and protection goggles. Eating, drinking and smoking are prohibited during application. After application, wash your hands and face.

3. Bicol is kept in dry cool storehouses at the air temperature under 300 C in sealed bags.
